Gifted & Talented - Upcoming Meeting Report

Report Logic

The Upcoming Meetings report lists currently enrolled GT students whose next review is due soon or already overdue. A student appears when the follow-up or review date from their most recent meeting - or, if no date was entered, the one-year anniversary of that meeting - falls within the next 30 days or has already passed. Students who have furloughed or exited the program are not listed. Use it to plan and schedule each student's GT review so that none is missed.

Accessing the report

There are two potential options for how to reach the Gifted & Talented reports, depending upon how your school district's PowerSchool is configured. There may be a page under Data & Reporting labeled as "GSD Reports", "Your District Abbreviation Reports" or "Your Distrct Name Reports".

If you don't see an entry under Data & Reporting, it is likely that the reports were added to your server using the "new UI" - an entry somewhere in the left navigation menu on the main page. While GSD Educational Services attempts to standardize the menu placement during implementation, this is something that districts ultimately manage, so users may need to look around the menus to find the correct link.

Each report respects the school you currently have selected — if you are at the district level, all schools are included; if a specific school is selected, the report shows only that school's students.

The report is titled Gifted & Talented Upcoming Meetings.

Using the Report

Each row represents one student who is due, or nearly due, for an annual review or a follow-up meeting as set in their prior meetings.:

1. Student Name - the student's name, linked to their record.
2. Grade - the student's current grade level.
3. School - the student's school of enrollment.
4. Meeting Date - the date of the student's most recent GT meeting.
5. Next Meeting Due - the date the annual review is due (about one year after the last meeting).
6. Status - Pending Review when the review is upcoming, or Overdue when the due date has already passed.

Working with the report

1. Click the Student Name, Grade, or School column headers to sort the list; click a header a second time to reverse the order.
2. Click a student's name to open their record in a new tab.
