Navigation
There are two potential options for how to reach the EL ILP reports, depending upon how your school district's PowerSchool is configured. There may be a page under Data & Reporting labeled as "GSD Reports", "Your District Abbreviation Reports" or "Your Distrct Name Reports".
If you don't see an entry under Data & Reporting, it is likely that the reports were added to your server using the "new UI" - an entry somewhere in the left navigation menu on the main page. While GSD Educational Services attempts to standardize the menu placement during implementation, this is something that districts ultimately manage, so users may need to look around the menus to find the correct link.
Each report respects the school you currently have selected — if you are at the district level, all schools are included; if a specific school is selected, the report shows only that school's students. On the three list reports below, you can click the Student Name, Grade, or School column headings to sort the table.
The reports include only active English Learners — enrolled students whose EL Status is L1 or LP and whose EL Exit Date is empty or in the future.
EL ILP Accommodations
The Accommodations report lists every active EL student's accommodations, grouped by accommodation category (e.g. Instruction, Environment and Setting, Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments). Within each category, each student appears with their name, grade, school, and the list of accommodations they receive in that category. Student names link to the student's ILP page. Use this to see, district- or school-wide, which students have which accommodations.
EL ILP Interventions
Lists every active EL student and the interventions in their current ILP. For each student it shows name, grade, and school, plus a breakdown of each intervention: the intervention name, its weekly schedule (a checkmark under Monday–Friday for each scheduled day), and the duration in minutes. Use this to review intervention coverage and scheduling across students.
WIDA Scores
Shows each active EL student's most recent WIDA ACCESS test scores — Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Composite — along with test date and current EL status. The report pulls the most recent test year automatically.
Cells are color-coded to make performance easy to scan:
- Domain and Composite score cells are colored by proficiency level: roughly red for the lowest scores, then orange, yellow, light green, and green for fully proficient (4.5+).
- The Current EL Status cell is colored to flag mismatches between a student's score and their status:
- Green = status and score agree (a current EL who has not yet reached proficiency, or a former/exited student who has).
- Red = status and score disagree and should be reviewed — for example, a student still marked as a current EL (
L1/LP) who has already scored at the proficient level, or a student no longer marked current who has not yet reached proficiency. Status X (not an EL) always shows red here.
- Yellow = the score is missing, so the status cannot be checked.
The proficiency threshold is a Composite of 4.5, or 4.0 for students flagged as taking the Alternate ACCESS.
